I’m Patrick Hopper. Over the years, I’ve been a soldier, educator, school administrator, athletic trainer, pastor, chaplain, husband, father, and plenty of other things. I’ve learned some lessons the easy way and quite a few the hard way.

Here, I share real stories from those experiences and what they’re still teaching me about investing in ourselves, investing in the people around us, facing what we can’t control, and choosing how we respond.

I don’t have everything figured out. I’m still learning too. But maybe something I’ve learned along the way can help you take your own next step.
