Goldberry Grove

🌰 Goldberry Grove | Chestnut Orchard & Regenerative Agroforestry in West Virginia

Welcome to Goldberry Grove—our 7-acre chestnut orchard nestled in the mountains of southeastern West Virginia. We’re building a resilient, integrated agroforestry system rooted in permaculture, ecological restoration, and low-input sustainability.

Follow along as we plant and care for chestnuts, hazelnuts, pawpaws, elderberries, and native trees—while balancing the joys and challenges of first-generation farming. You'll find us experimenting with companion planting, natural amendments, Korean Natural Farming, rewilding, and a healthy dose of farm dog cameos.

We’re here to grow food, grow forests, and grow community.

Topics we cover:
🌱 Agroforestry & permaculture
🌰 Nut tree cultivation (especially chestnuts)
🐾 Life with farm dogs
🌲 Native ecology & Appalachian rewilding
♻️ Sustainability
🏡 Small-scale farming

Subscribe to follow our journey—one nut, one tree, one season at a time.
