My name is Steve, it is very nice to meet you. I grew up in the sticks of Alberta, raised up on a farm. I really love the water. Any lake, river, or stream will do, and growing up in Alberta, you know i am not fussy. I enjoy kayaking and canoeing the most, but I am not against motor boats. 
Fishing and hiking will be the prime focus of this page, but we will hopefully get out on a few hunts as well, and even touch on some gardening and preserving food over our long harsh winters.

I do not claim to be the best at anything I do, in fact I am just learning much of this as I go, I am open to constructive comments as long as they are informative to my viewers and I.

Quite simply, I am putting my passion out there for the world to see so we can grow and learn together. 

 We will be respectful, clean, and safe so that we can get the best out of what we do and leave little to no trace behind.
