Genevieve & Milo

Genevieve & Milo is a folk duo from Cape Town, South Africa. Their music combines Genevieve’s rich vocals with Milo’s vibrant drumming and percussion. Their sound wanders between genres but resonates with a deep honesty and enquiry into the human experience. Each song is a meeting point between their folk, classical, rock and West African influences.

The duo released their first EP ‘Carrying Water’ in 2024. The record pays homage to the natural world that nurtured them. Sorrowful yet uplifting, each song draws on a silent reverence for the world around them. Their previous releases found features on BBC radio 6, Australia's ABC radio, Canada's folk music Ontario Radio and Radio y Televisión Spain, amongst others.

Off the back of a successful UK/Euro tour this year, their latest album explores similar themes in a bolder, more vulnerable way. ‘Moonflower’, their first full-length album coming, 30/10/26
