Gendai Jiu Jitsu

Founded in 2025 in Ottakring, Gendai Jiu Jitsu stands for a contemporary, dynamic, and well-founded approach to martial arts practice. Our training combines the traditional principles of Jiu Jitsu with current insights from sports science, movement theory, and modern training methodology.
We do not understand Jiu Jitsu as a fixed collection of individual techniques, but as a dynamic system of movement, structure, timing, distance, control, and adaptability. Our focus is not only on self-defense and technical precision, but also on body awareness, mental clarity, respectful interaction, and sustainable development.
On this channel, we offer insights into our training, explain concepts, and share drills, applications, and thoughts on martial arts. Our goal is to make Jiu Jitsu accessible, practical, and relevant today — for beginners as well as advanced practitioners.
