GaiaCare_Ghana

GaiaCare is a Ghanaian-based Non-Governmental Organization working on mainly on Agroforestry interventions within the Cocoa Landscape of Ghana. We work with local and international partners to implement Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Projects mainly Agroforestry, and Improved Cookstoves. We also support farmers to generate additional incomes by building capacities and setting them up on activities such as Beeekeeping and Village Savings and Loans (VSLAs). In implementing Agroforestry projects, we plant a variety of tree species compatible with cocoa farming to ensure this economic and ecological medium to long term benefits to farmers, their households, and the environment.
