GCU Debating Society

Welcome to the official YouTube channel of the GCU Debating Society, مجلسِ مباحث, Government College University Lahore.

Carrying forward the legacy of the College’s Young Speakers’ Union and Students’ Union, the Debating Society took its present form in 1993 and has since groomed generations of Ravians in the art of public speaking. As one of the few societies representing GCU nationally and internationally, it has produced some of Pakistan’s finest orators and won more than ten thousand prizes, making it the most successful debating fraternity in the country.

We train students in public speaking, declamations, parliamentary debates and Model United Nations, and nurture excellence in Naat and Qirat. We also cultivate literary talent through Nazm, Ghazal and writing competitions that build critical thought and original expression.

Here you’ll find our speeches, debates, competitions and events.
