Fundraiser for Education in Flores

The Fundraiser for Education in Flores was created to fund a full year of school/university of over 60 students (elementary, middle, high school or university). These students are from Flores, which is an island in Indonesia, and they all either live in extreme poverty or are orphans. Without support, they unfortunately have to drop out this summer.

This fundraiser is organized by me, Saskia Schwarz, a student myself and a friend of Flores. I have been to Flores for the first time in 2019 and during my visit I met Florian Lengu, founder of the Dian Flores Indonesia Foundation. At the end of July 2026, I'm going to travel to Flores once again to personally bring the donations to the families and schools together with Florian. I will be staying for almost two months and document the whole journey and process on this account as well as on Instagram.
