Fundamental Shift (the band)

’If Seven Was A Number’ is Fundamental Shift’s debut album release. An hour of ‘Journey Music’. A genre-hopping, dynamic experience that is as unpredictable as it is engaging.

Fundamental Shift, Andrew Muecke and Andy Rasheed, is a broad creative collaboration encompassing the writing of original music, musical instrument designing and building, recording and engineering and videography. 

Andrew was responsible for writing and engineering of the original bed tracks, bass, keyboards and electric guitar parts. 

Andy wrote the lyrics, sang all of the vocal parts, played drums, pedal steel, electric and acoustic and lap steel guitars and generally garnished the songs with a variety of cameos.

He shot and edited the accompanying video of CGI-free imagery. Andy also designed and built several of the instruments he plays on the album, including the acoustic and electric lap steels, tanpura and knee fiddle.
