Freja skogsdotter

Freja Skogsdotter is an AI folk artist creating ethereal music rooted in Nordic mythology and Norse folklore. Blending Nordic folk music with viking folk music traditions, her songs move between forest music, fjord ballads, and cinematic folk soundscapes built on drone, chant, and atmosphere rather than typical pop structure.
As a Nordic folk singer born from an old memory rather than a birthplace, Freja's music explores origin, grief, hope, and freedom through mystical music that draws on real Old Norse vocabulary and imagery. Each release ties into a larger visual world of antler crowns, painted runes, and windswept landscapes.
