Free Black Motherhood (FBM) is a co-created, Black mama liberation movement encouraging us toward claim the autonomy that's ours—and gives us the tools and community to turn that autonomy into action (agency) in mothering and beyond. 

The Mission: FBM helps Black mothers to reclaim the autonomy that's ours, heal generational wounds, and model freedom in action. We challenge mothers to prioritize their own freedom ahead of their children's. We do this because we know that if we free ourselves, the children will follow. 

We help mothers employ tools such as narrative reflection, community building, and multi-generational dialogue to build a sense of autonomy and move toward action (agency).
