Folk Verse Bangla

FolkVerseBangla explores the spiritual folk music of Bangladesh—timeless songs, poetry, philosophy, and mysticism rooted in Bengal’s heritage.

At its heart are Lalon Shah, Lalon Fakir, and Lalon Geeti (লালন গীতি), alongside Baul Gaan (বাউল গান), Fakiri Gaan (ফকিরি গান), Bangla Folk Songs (বাংলা লোকগান), Maromi Gaan (মরমী গান), Dehototto (দেহতত্ত্ব), Bengali mystic poets, and spiritual songs (আধ্যাত্মিক গান).

Through expressive music and cinematic folk storytelling, we present Bengali Folk Music and Bangladeshi Folk Music to a new generation while preserving their emotion, philosophy, humanism, and spiritual depth.

Explore Baul philosophy, Bengali mysticism, love, devotion, the soul, life, death, and self-discovery.

🌿 Songs of the soil. Wisdom of the saints. Stories of the soul.
