Ferric Prophet

Ferric Prophet is the latest and final chapter of Scottish songwriter and producer Jimmy Noble — a veteran of the underground with roots in punk, dub, funk, and experimental rock.
Across bands such as The Abused, Censored, Trinity, Pure Blind Panic, and Space Monkey Mafia, Jimmy spent decades shaping Scotland’s alternative sound. Later incarnations — Astro Simian, Wayne Paycheck, HuJay Noble, and Noble & McQueen — explored more cinematic and electronic territory, including Before I Turn Zombie, created with longtime collaborator Rick Mono.
Ferric Prophet strips everything back. No gloss, no polish — just bass, space, and truth. Built on dub, reggae, and heavy groove, the project fuses live musicianship with studio experimentation, often in collaboration with the Shivery Dug creative collective.
This is music forged in survival raw, spiritual, and resonant long after the noise fades.
