Fereshteh Molavi (فرشته مولوی)

Welcome to MY LITERARY LANE, which is sort of  'my own room.' 
In this channel, I share some of my words and works with you as an Iranian-Canadian author -- mainly suitable for Persian-speaking audience. 
Born in Tehran in 1953, I lived and worked there until 1998 -- when I immigrated to Canada. Over the years of my writing odyssey, I've published six novels, four essay collections, several short story collections, and many literary translations. My English novel, Thirty Shadow Birds, has been published by Inanna Publications in 2019. A selected collection of my translated short stories , Stories from Tehran, has been released by Asemana Books in 2025.
