The Revolutionary Journey of FBOIOA: A Legacy of Courage and Unity

The Federation of Bank of India Officers’ Associations (FBOIOA) stands as a beacon of hope and strength in the history of India’s bank officers' movement. It all began in December 1963, when a group of bold officers, led by Shri V.M. Devi, gathered at dusk in Sardar Baug, Ahmedabad, to challenge the exploitation and tyranny faced by bank officers. Their decision to form an Officers’ Association marked the dawn of a transformative movement, igniting a spirit of unity and resistance that swept across banks and organizations nationwide.

This was more than a union—it was a revolution to uphold dignity, fairness, and justice for officers. The march forward has been relentless, inspiring generations to fight for their rights. Join this journey of courage, resilience, and progress by following us. Together, let’s honor this legacy and shape a brighter future!
