Family Mycology

Family Mycology™ is a new way of seeing the family, not as a set of separate individuals, but as a living intelligence field, threaded together like the mycelial network beneath a forest floor.

Here, Ashley Glowiak, LMFT, a marriage and family therapist and doctoral researcher, turns her essays into short, cinematic readouts on generational trauma, family systems, nervous system regulation, somatic healing, and the quiet inheritance that moves between parents and children.

Each video is a few minutes of voice and image: a place to slow down, feel your own patterns as lineage rather than personality, and find the one thing that can change an entire family, a single node coming back online.
New readouts regularly. Read the full essays and join the community on Substack (link below).
