Federation of Free Municipalities of Peru - FEMULP

The Federation of Free Municipalities of Peru is formed under the Constitution of Peru, the Organic Law of Municipalities, and Civil Code.

The organic nature of FEMULP, with the explicit purpose of bringing together municipalities of Peru to establish bonds of intercooperation and municipal solidarity among them and with their counterparts in other countries, validly allows it to exercise the capacity for direct representation before the governing bodies of the Peruvian State, and other regional and global municipalist instances, of second and third level.
