Finance and Accounting Services SETA

FASSET is the Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority and is one of the 21 Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs) in South Africa. It is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to address the skills needs within the finance and accounting services sector.

 FASSET’s role includes:
Skills Development: Identifying and addressing skills gaps and training needs within the sector.

Funding and Support: Providing financial support and resources for education and training programs.

Sector Collaboration: Working with industry stakeholders, educational institutions, and government to enhance sectoral skills and knowledge.

FASSET aims to ensure that the finance and accounting services workforce is skilled, competent, and equipped to meet the sector’s evolving demands.
