Pennypack Environmental Center

One of Philadelphia Parks And Recreation's three environmental centers, Pennypack is located in NE Philadelphia (the unceded land of the Lenape), and is also a bird sanctuary. We provide outdoor experiences for all ages, including field trips, public programs, summer camps, community festivals, and more. We have a small nature museum that people can explore and meet live turtles, snakes, insects, and fish, a library, bird blind, and hiking trails that wind through meadow, forest, and along the Pennypack Creek and Paul's Run.
