Evolve Chronic Illness Therapist

Hiya, I'm Tina, an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR Therapist in training, with over 17 years’ experience across the NHS, charities, and private practice. I specialise in therapy for chronic illness and long-term health conditions, helping adults manage anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and the emotional impact of ongoing symptoms.

My approach integrates evidence-based CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, and mind–body-informed strategies to help clients feel calmer, more resilient, and more in control of their lives.

I’m particularly passionate about supporting high-functioning adults who appear to cope outwardly while privately struggling with the emotional and psychological impact of persistent health difficulties.

Topics I post about include:
• chronic illness & mental health
• nervous system regulation
• IBS, pain & fatigue
• mindfulness & CBT
• emotional resilience
