Electric Man Steve

Steve Perlsweig is the creator and performer of Electric Man, the only one of its kind electric one-man band presenting rock, blues, and folk music. Electric Man's own pre-recorded guitar parts and vocal harmonies accompany his singing and guitar playing. Invented in 1990 to perform in the campsites of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Electric Man rig is a handcrafted instrument that has been used for late-night Fest performances ever since. In addition to being a wandering festival minstrel, Electric Man has appeared on varied stages, including the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the Xtreme Folk Festival, and at regional cafes, restaurants, and concert venues.
