El Retorno

El Retorno is a cultural immersion and storytelling initiative founded and curated by Mariela Regalado. We offer immersive cultural retreats across the Dominican Republic, connecting the Dominican diaspora with its roots, history, identity, and community. Our experiences combine writing, visual arts, cultural heritage, educational workshops, and community engagement. Through thoughtfully curated programming in destinations including Santiago, Cabarete, Sosúa, and Bonao, El Retorno creates opportunities to explore Dominican culture beyond traditional tourism while supporting local artists, educators, and communities.
