Eki Lembut

I was inspired to learn music after listening to Iwan Fals' songs. This sparked my interest in playing the guitar, and I dreamed of creating music like his. I was fortunate to meet Iwan Fals at his home in 2007. My musical journey began with busking on the streets of Tebet, Jakarta for three years. I wanted to experience the real world of music and learn from what I saw and heard. In 2010, I went back to my village, and in 2018, I moved to Bali spontaneously. I made friends with several bands in Bali, which gave me the confidence to start writing songs again. Now, I have created music that resonates with listeners and captures their feelings of longing.
