The Ethiopian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (ETiCPA) is Ethiopia’s autonomous national accountancy body established under Proclamation No. 1372/2025.

We regulate, develop, and promote the profession in alignment with international standards to enhance public trust and economic growth.

ETiCPA is legally empowered to: -
- Register and certify accounting technicians and certified public accountants
- Administer examinations and qualification programs
- Enforce quality assurance, inspections, and disciplinary processes on its members
- Promote ethics, independence, and public interest protection
- Strengthen public confidence in financial reporting and governance systems
