1962: Introduction of Aquajet technology, which offers excellent grip even in wet conditions.
1970: Sumitomo Rubber Industries introduced the world's first run-flat tyre with emergency running capabilities.
1998: Introduction of the DSST (DUNLOP Self-Supporting Tyres) system – a further development of run-flat technology.
