Dr. K-dope

I have One Main mission: prove and spread the idea that science IS .... Dope.

I'm Dr. Kevan 'K-Dope' Kidder — a University of Washington–trained neuroscientist (PhD, 2022) and NIH-funded researcher who spent 13 consecutive years (from my undergraduate research to graduate PhD program to post Grad school jobs like UW instructor and Research scientist in the dept. of Neurobiology and Biophysics) studying how brains make decisions, form memories, and fall apart in disease. I'm also a rapper for almost the same amount of time, although these sides of my persona were always kept seperate. This channel and my recent social media content is where those two worlds finally stopped hiding in each other's shadows. Becoming Dr. K-dope with a mission.
