When a Republican podcast host invites Liberal friends over for conversation, pours drinks, and commits the trifecta of modern mortal sins: mixing alcohol, politics, and friendships and—occasionally—religion. You end up with Drinking With My Liberal Friends, luckily there is enough alcohol to convince us this is still a good idea. 

Safe spaces will not be provided. Alcohol will be. Open dialogue is mandatory.

When people stop talking, bad things happen. Everyone starts assuming the other side is evil, stupid, or secretly plotting the downfall of civilization. 99.9% of the time that’s not true—it just feels true after doom scrolling the internet too long.

This show exists to prove that most people are still human… and sane, even after a few drinks. If you sit and talk with people of different opinions you might find out you’re not that far apart in ideas and agree with 90% of it.
