Dr. Hiro K

Fusion or stimulator? A spine surgeon who does both.

I'm Dr. Hiro Katoh, a spine surgeon and medical school professor in Japan. I perform spinal fusions and I also implant spinal cord stimulators, so I can tell you how they compare from someone who does both.

On this channel: honest, evidence-based talk about chronic back and leg pain, spine surgery, and spinal cord stimulation. Who each option is for, who it isn't for, and what the research actually shows.
