DonZart's Life

Don J. Welbourne, known creatively as DonZart, is a Canadian storyteller, game designer, and artist with a passion for weaving imagination into every project he touches. From designing whimsical board games to crafting immersive novels, Don has always been drawn to worlds where reality blurs into mystery and wonder.

Living with late-diagnosed dyslexia and bipolar disorder, he understands what it means to feel out of place—an experience that fuels his stories with empathy, resilience, and heart. Whether he’s building fantastical adventures at the game table or exploring cosmic mysteries on the page, Don writes with the belief that stories are bridges: connecting people, sparking imagination, and reminding us that we’re never as alone as we think.
