Wild horses of Livno

The wild horses of Livno are horses that live on the Krug plateau, in the area from Koričin to Borova glava.

These are not original wild horses, but are descendants of domestic horses that served in agriculture. After they were suppressed in that role by mechanization fifty years ago, they were left to live wild, because there was no longer a need for them.
