Diary of an Emergency Room PA

20+ years in emergency medicine, many more in EMS. Thousands of cases. And I still can't fully explain what a PA is at a dinner party.

Welcome to PA ER Diary — a faceless, honest look at life as a Physician Associate in the ER. I will still call myself a Physician Assistant-I have been doing this job too long to change it now! No fluff. No hero edits. Just real stories from the floor, the decisions nobody prepares you for, and the moments that make you question everything — including whether I would do it all over again.

Each video we break down ER cases, medical concepts, and the unspoken realities of working in healthcare...the brutal ugly truth. Whether you're a patient trying to understand what just happened to you, a student figuring out if this path is right for you, or a clinician who just wants to feel less alone — pull up a chair.

This is the diary. Come follow along.
