Diary of a Soil Health Scientist

I’m Dr. Alice Johannes and I’m a soil scientist from Switzerland. My research interests are in agricultural soils and include soil structure, compaction, soil organic carbon, soil management or indicators.

I decided to start this channel mainly for self educational purposes. I present "my" topics of soil science (that could potentially be interesting for other soil scientists or soil science students) with clear references of the scientific articles I mention. In other words, I aim to create the content I myself would like to watch.

I’ve decided to call it the “Diary” of a Soil Health Scientist because I wanted to keep it open to also talk about other subjects influencing my professional life (e.g. remote work, motherhood, communication, woman in science).
