Dianna James for California Assembly

I am a 5th generation Californian and a proud resident of Mount Shasta. My career has been defined by a deep sense of service and accountability. I believe in good jobs, clean water, and open land for our beautiful district.

We face critical challenges: rising costs, a lack of rural jobs that pay a living wage, policies that impede our small businesses, and the urgent need to protect our land and water. Assembly District 1 deserves a representative who understands working people, family farms, and the rivers and forests that define this region.

As a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State, I have served in some of the world's most challenging environments pressing governments to deliver for their people. I am running for Assembly because I believe I can put my experience to work ensuring that North State communities have a strong and effective representative in Sacramento. I'll work with anyone across the political spectrum to achieve real results for our district.
