Dexter the Dog and Friends

Hi, I'm Tonya, and I'm the creator of Dexter the Dog and Friends! I'm a dog trainer and a passionate dog lover. I started this channel to share my love of dogs and to help kids learn more about special needs dogs.

My dog, Dexter, is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has Chiari malformation and syringomyelia. Chiari malformation is a condition in which the brain is too large for the skull, and syringomyelia is a condition in which fluid-filled cavities develop within the spinal cord. Dexter's conditions make his life a little more challenging, but he's always eager to please and up for an adventure.  

On this channel, you'll find videos of Dexter's daily life, his favorite activities, and the challenges he faces as a special needs dog. I believe that every dog deserves a loving home, regardless of their special needs.
