Derek Corcoran presents: Glacial Light

Glacial Light is the mythic folk-metal project of Derek Corcoran, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and storyteller. Drawing from Norse, Celtic, and Selknam traditions, Derek crafts songs that blend metal, haunting flutes, and soaring melodies into tales of travel, longing, and ancestral memory. Based in Denmark but rooted in the windswept landscapes of Patagonia, his music traces a journey through distant lands, mythic echoes, and personal transformation.Derek writes, performs, and records every instrument himself, from Irish bouzouki to electric guitar, flute to drum machine. This is a one-man voyage into shadowed fjords and starlit coasts, where metal meets myth, and every note is a step on the path.
