Del Mar Adventures Official

Over a decade ago, María del Mar Alfaro, a passionate Costa Rican ocean lover, founded Del Mar Surf Camp to share the magic of surfing and nature. What began as women-focused surf retreats on the beaches of Jacó, Nosara, and Santa Teresa quickly evolved into empowering spaces of personal growth and community.

Recognizing that true well-being goes beyond surfing, María del Mar expanded her vision to create Del Mar Adventures — a holistic experience that blends surf, yoga, meditation, functional training, and conscious ceremonies in boutique retreats across Costa Rica and Peru.

After a personal break to reconnect with herself, she returns with a renewed purpose.

Today, Del Mar Adventures is a thriving wellness community that offers transformational journeys in harmony with nature. It’s more than a retreat — it’s an invitation to reconnect with yourself and live with intention.
