Hello, My name is Declan. so seventeen years ago i was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy which over the years it took my ablity firstly to walk so ive been fully depandnent on a wheelchair for 13 years, at first it was quite easy becuse i still had upper strenth but over the years ive become were i cant even lift my arms up without help and i always cant be left alone as i need help with every day activitys. this has took its toll on my mental health so i get worried about going and spent alot of time on my own in my bedroom. but something has changed, on the 16th on may i was told i have hopfully 6 months to live, this is because i had sepsis which has givien me kidney failure so i cant have the heart medicastion what increases Life expectancy. So because of this infomation ive been given It has given my the KICK UP THE ARSE to go out and Live my Life to the Fullest!
