Hi, I’m David Kang — a political scientist and author specializing in Korea, East Asia, and international relations.

Over the years, I’ve taught, researched, written, and advised on these topics across academia and policy. This channel is where I share lectures, conversations, and how I think about global politics — with the goal of creating space for conversations around complex issues while making them more clear, grounded, and understandable.

I’m based in Los Angeles, CA with interests beyond my academic work, including writing music and playing and coaching soccer.
