Datdyanemkay

Born and raised in Mthatha, with his roots firmly grounded in Dutywa, Datdyanemkay (real name Sinesihle Msekele) is a South African rapper, creative director, and visual storyteller carving his own lane in the industry. With a formal background in Music and Drama, he developed a strong foundation in performance, stage presence, and structured storytelling — elements that now define his artistic identity.
His music is rooted in authenticity, ambition, and lived experience. Growing up in the Eastern Cape shaped his perspective, allowing him to channel real emotion and resilience into his lyricism.
Beyond the microphone, he is a skilled video editor and filmmaker who has worked with major artists on high-level productions. His behind-the-scenes industry experience gives him a rare creative advantage. This allows him to build not just songs, but complete visual experiences. Every release is intentional, every visual aligned, and every move strategic.
