Dan Clayton Music

Dan Clayton is a UK-born, Calgary-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Blackpool, UK, with English and Scottish roots. A northern lad at heart, he’s travelled, moved continents, and found new pieces of himself through music and people he’s met along the way.

After years in bands like We Like Humans, Donkey Vision, Switchboard Spectacular, and most recently New Originals, Dan has always released music on the side. This is where his individual music lives. The kind he hopes you'll connect with, feel, and enjoy.

Guitar and piano tend to be at the core, but no style is off limits. If it’s honest, it stays. His songs explore loss, frustration, joy, heartache, and personal growth.
