Canada with Callum

I'm Callum MacLeod, a retired geography teacher who spent nearly forty years teaching the geography of Canada in Ontario classrooms.

On this channel I take the places every Canadian knows, the Rockies, Lake Ontario, Niagara Falls, Georgian Bay, the Okanagan, and explain what's really underneath them: old sea floors, vanished lakes, moving waterfalls, drowned villages, buried rivers, and the rock, ice and water that decided where our towns would stand.

Some of these stories I taught for years. Others still surprise me today.

If you've ever looked at a map of Canada and wondered "why is it like that?", pull up a chair.

New journeys across Canada every week.
