DMET-MERI Ex-Cadets Association (DMECA)

The DMET-MERI Ex-Cadets Association (DMECA) is the alumni body of DMETians across generations, built on shared values, professional excellence, and lifelong camaraderie.  

With a growing community of over 1,200 lifetime members worldwide, DMECA brings together senior maritime leaders, sailing professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and young officers shaping the future of global shipping.  

Beyond reunions and networking, DMECA works as a registered NGO trust to represent alumni interests, strengthen connections between past and present cadets, and act as a collective voice for meaningful progress within the maritime ecosystem.

Through events, alumni engagement, and structured initiatives, we aim to preserve the legacy of DMET while creating opportunities, mentorship, and impact for the next generation of DMETians.
