Gaming with Grandpa

Welcome to Gaming with Grandpa! I’m a 50+-year-old gamer who started with an Atari 2600. Over the years, I’ve owned nearly every console, built a few gaming PCs, and even designed and programmed a few games. I’ve also built my own sim racing rig for full immersion in titles like Gran Turismo 7 and Assetto Corsa.

Now, armed with a PS5 and VR2, I’m competing in modern games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, Anno 1800, and Throne and Liberty. Whether it's fast-paced shooters, world-building adventures, or competitive racing, I’m here to show that gaming is timeless!

Join me for tips, laughs, real-time gameplay and to see if I can keep up with the next-gen crowd across several game genres. Will I be victorious—or get slaughtered as I challenge younger players, build and strategize, race in my custom rig, and hopefully keep my KD ratio positive all while sharing my decades of gaming experience.
