Hana・Kokoro・Tsurugi ― The Soul of Bushido

Nichika, a practitioner of Musō Shinden-ryū Iaido,
shares quiet reflections on bushido
through etiquette, kata, and the philosophy of the sword.

Iaido is not a way of cutting others,
but of cutting away the delusion within.
This channel features demonstrations,
kata explanations, sword practice,
and “Iaido Whispers” — reflections on life and training.

After the Second World War,
Japanese culture changed greatly.

Nichika, now 83 years old,
belongs to the postwar generation,
yet still inherited
certain prewar ways
directly from his parents and teachers.

For this reason,
we believe it is worth preserving
the path of one person
who has tried to carry forward
what is essential.

This channel is
his daughter Hibiki’s attempt
to preserve his path
as a form of cultural
and intellectual heritage.

We feel deep joy
when we encounter
those who truly seek
such things.
