IPL Construction Videos

The Integrated Pipeline Project (IPL), developed by Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) and Dallas Water Utilities (DWU), is a major infrastructure program delivering the third phase of a 350 MGD raw water transmission system across North Central Texas. It extends from Lake Palestine to Lake Benbrook, with connections to Cedar Creek and Richland Chambers reservoirs and a Dallas delivery point. The project includes about 150 miles of large-diameter pipeline, a 5-mile tunnel, six pump stations, two suction reservoirs, and a 450 MG balancing reservoir.

As one of the largest water transmission projects in recent decades, IPL set new standards for large-diameter pipeline construction. To share lessons learned, Kalyani Vemulapalli developed a video series (2025–2026) documenting key processes, innovations, and project insights for the water industry.
