Colby Smart

Colby Smart is a lifelong educator, community leader, and father running as an independent for California’s District 2. He is committed to leadership that listens, unites, and acts—putting problem-solving above party politics.

District 2 is diverse, stretching from the redwood forests of Humboldt to the fishing towns along the North Coast, the ranch lands of Modoc, and the vibrant communities of Marin. Colby believes its strength comes from shared values: strong families, quality schools, sustainable economies, and respect for our land and communities.
