Coach Tiago Dias

Welcome! I’m Tiago Dias — endurance coach, sports physiologist, triathlete and founder of Endurance Lab, based in Ireland.

I help swimmers, cyclists, runners and triathletes understand their training and put sports science into practice.

Through Sports Science Made Easy, I explain training zones, VO2max, lactate, pacing, fuelling and recovery in plain language, with practical examples you can use in your own training.

You’ll also find coaching advice, performance testing explained, athlete conversations, and my own training and racing journey. I share what I learn both as a coach and as an athlete — including the challenges along the way.

Whether you’re preparing for your first race or chasing a personal best, the aim is simple: understand your training, build consistency and enjoy the process.
