Clara Whitmore

Clara Whitmore was born in Charleston on November 16, 1990. Music has always played a central role in her life: her mother, a piano teacher, started her musical education at six, while her father - a vinyl enthusiast - introduced her to jazz, blues, and swing classics. At 14, she began singing in school choirs, discovering a passion for jazz. While admiring past legends, she developed a unique voice: warm, enveloping, and laced with melancholic undertones. After graduation, she moved to New York to perfect her studies at the prestigious Aurelia School of Performing Jazz Art, specializing in jazz vocals and composition. Clara is celebrated for her intimate performances in small clubs with soft lighting. Discreet and far from the media spotlight, she divides her time between New York and a house in the Tuscan countryside, her sanctuary and source of inspiration. One of her passions is analog photography, which she often uses for her album covers.
