Civically Engaged Districts Project

The Civically Engaged Districts (CED) Project is a collaboration between Rutgers Graduate School of Education (GSE) and Teachers College (TC).  Rooted in a civic learning ecosystems view of civic education, this project brings together youth, educators, pre-service teachers, graduate students in education, and university faculty and staff for professional development, networking, and student voice experiences that initiate and support civic action research within New Jersey public schools.  CED work in New Jersey serves as a learning laboratory for  developing deeper understandings of how to expand and sustain civic learning ecosystems in school districts across the country.
