Jay Ernest and the Church of Cash

Founded in sunny Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2010, Jay Ernest and the Church of Cash has been carrying the music of Johnny Cash down the highways of America and across the stages of Europe ever since.
With a rich baritone voice, commanding stage presence, and a deep love for classic country music, Jay Ernest captures the grit, heart, and spirit of the Man in Black. Johnny Cash's daughter, Cindy Cash, has said Jay's voice is the closest to her father's she's ever heard.
Hailing from Minnesota, this award-winning tribute was named Best Tribute Act by the Midwest Country Music Organization in 2019 and 2021.
From the boom-chicka-boom of Sun Records to Cash's later classics, it's all here: freight-train rhythms, twangin' guitars, and songs that stand the test of time.
Road-tested and road-ready, Jay Ernest and the Church of Cash keeps the legacy of Johnny Cash alive, one stage, one song, and one audience at a time.
